You can continue with the course of study while staying in any city within Ukraine. Innovative Internet-based training methods facilitate quick mastery of any foreign language, with classes arranged at your most convenient time. Two highly qualified specialists, a Ukrainian trainer and a native speaker, are at your service from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Choosing from a wide range of courses we offer, you can opt for a general English course or a specialized course: negotiations (in particular, telephone negotiations), presentations, meetings etc. The choice of study programs will also depend on your area of professional activity: we offer English courses for HR specialists, lawyers, managers, bankers, marketing specialists, sales personnel, financiers, accountants, pharmacists etc. For further information, please refer to www.epoch.net.ua.

Distance learning programs in English from SGI school

Program 1 – Independent Study
This program is targeted at students who have little free time and/or cannot arrange a fixed schedule for their classes. The program is suitable both for those seeking to improve their English language skills and for those wishing only to maintain their language skills they previously acquired.

Program Organization:
Epoch of International Education teachers test each program participant, determine his/her level of language acquisition and/or language skills and competencies which should be developed or maintained, and offer their recommendations concerning the organization of the independent study process. Subsequently, the student is registered for participation in the program and receives an access code for resources.

The program involves a basic level of access to all distance learning resources – tests, exercises, audio and video materials. Each program participant can exercise independent control over assignment scope, as well as the frequency and schedule of assignment completion.
Course fee per participant is as follows:

1) 12 months - £95
2) 6 months - £54
3) 1 month - £10

Program 2 – Online General English Course.
This program is designed for students who wish to receive extra language practice and/or enhance certain language competencies: oral speech, writing, reading, grammar, or vocabulary.

Program Organization:
Epoch of International Education teachers test each program participant, determine his/her level of language acquisition, and prepare a personalized study plan to develop the necessary language skills and competencies. The study plan can be targeted at developing either one or several competencies, or their complete set.

The participant’s personalized study plan is forwarded to the SGI teacher who will provide tutor support for the learning process.

The program is designed to be completed over a 3 month period. It includes 30 hours of tuition according to the personalized study plan + two 30-minute speaking sessions via Skype with a British teacher.

Each participant receives weekly detailed feedback from his/her tutor describing his/her performance and achievements. Participants can also exchange messages with their tutors at any time.

Participants in this program receive access to distance learning resources for independent study and to the library for the duration of their program.
Course fee per participant is £80.

Program 3 – Online Conversational Business English Course (via Skype and telephone)
This program is targeted at students who wish to improve a set of key business language skills: conducting presentations, meetings, negotiations, making phone calls.

Program Organization:
Epoch of International Education teachers test each program participant, determine his/her level of language acquisition, and prepare a personalized study plan to develop the necessary language skills and competencies.

The participant’s personalized study plan is forwarded to the SGI teacher who will provide tutor support for the learning process.

The program is designed to be completed over a 4-6 week period and includes 4-6 blocks. Each block consists of 4-6 60-minute sessions organized according to the following pattern: 15 minutes for a preparatory task, 30 minutes for a speaking session with the teacher via Skype, and 15 minutes for the concluding task.
Each participant receives weekly detailed feedback from his/her tutor describing his/her performance and achievements. Participants can also exchange messages with their tutors at any time.
In addition, participants in this program receive access to distance learning resources for independent completion of the program.
Course fee per participant per block is £120
